OpenAI Browser Launch Will Flop

OpenAI's building a browser launching "in coming weeks." Heard this before. Microsoft spent billions on Edge. Mozilla promised Firefox would save us. Brave claimed privacy would change everything.

All failed because browsers aren't about features anymore. They're about ecosystem lock-in, and Google owns it completely. Chrome works with Gmail, Drive, YouTube, Android. Breaking that integration breaks workflows.

Even if Google gets sued and forced to sell Chrome, it'll still be Chrome with same ecosystem lock-in, different owners.

Same "beat Google at their own game" hubris that killed Google+, killed Bing, will kill OpenAI browser. Google has infrastructure, ecosystem, user patterns built over 15 years.

OpenAI should stick to AI models. Browser graveyard's already full.
